Smethport - Theodore E. Haynes, 61, of Smethport, died Thursday (January 14, 2010) in the Bradford Regional Medical Center, Bradford.

He was born July 11, 1948 in Port Allegany, a son of Eugene and Virginia Downey Haynes. On July 3, 1975, in Springfield Township, OH, he married Denise Musser, who survives.

He served in the U. S. Navy during Vietnam.

Mr. Haynes was a machinist employed by Marik Springs in Akron, Ohio.

In addition to his wife and mother, Virginia Downey of Cuyahoga, OH, he is survived by
one daughter: Bobbie (Michael) Smith of Stow, OH
two sons: Brittain (Angie) Haynes of Gifford, PA, Ted (Sheila) Haynes, II of Pittsburgh, PA
Grandchildren, Kristian Haynes and Sierra Haynes.
two sisters: Sandy Cotula of Emporium, Jackie Knarr of Akron, OH

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one sister.

Visitation will be held on Friday from 6-8 P.M. at Hartle-Tarbox Funeral Homes, Inc., 2 Bank St., Smethport, PA. Funeral and committal services will be held on Saturday, Jan. 16, at 11:00 am from the funeral home, with the Rev. Max Simms, pastor of the Hilltop Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery, Farmers Valley.
