Obituary - Jack A. Dalaba

Port Allegany - Jack A. Dalaba, 62, of Port Allegany, died Wednesday (January 20, 2010) in the St. Vincent Health Center, Erie.

He was born May 28, 1947 in Erie, a son of Ramsey A. and Fern (Snookie) Lillibridge Dalaba, Sr., On Feb. 25, 1965 in Port Allegany, PA, he married Maryalice (Sis)Knell, who survives.

Mr. Dalaba was a 1965 graduate of Port Allegany High School.

Mr. Dalaba was a Press Operator, employed by Pittsburgh Corning for 37 ½ years retiring in 2002.

He was a member of Port Allegany Moose Lodge #460, Port Allegany, PA, a life member of the American Hunting Association and a avid NASCAR fan he also loved hunting, his camp and antique car shows.

In addition to his wife and Father of Port Allegany he is survived by
two daughters: Robin C. (David) Russell of Port Allegany, PA, Tammie (Adam Reinard) Dalaba of Port Allegany, PA
Three Grand Daughter, Tiffany Russell; Lindsay (Derrick) Lathrop; and Brittany Reinard;
Two Great Grand Children, Ashlyn and Aaron Lathrop
half brother, Ramsey A. Dalaba, Jr. of Endicott, NY
Step Sister, Heidi Meacham of Port Allegany, PA
one sister: Debra Miczo of Cambridge, PA

He was preceded in death by his mother, a sister Evonne Dalaba and a grand son William D. Waid

Visitation will be held on Friday, Jan.22, 2010 from 2-4 and 6-8pm in the Hartle-Tarbox Funeral Homes, Inc. 105 N Main St. Port Allegany where funeral and committal service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 am with the Rev. Roger Laktash officiating. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery, Port Allegany.
