Smethport - Cecelia M. Mitchell, 74, of Smethport, died Wednesday (March 4, 2009) in the Sena Kean Manor, Smethport. She was born April 7, 1934 in Smethport, a daughter of James John and Ethel May Green Mitchell. Mrs. Mitchell worked at Ethan Allen Co. in Eldred, PA, before she retired. She is survived by one son: James Winner of Emporium, PA 3 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild one sister: Irene Freer of Smethport, PA one brother: Paul Mitchell of Smethport, PA She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, and 1 sister There will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, March 14, from the Rose Hill Cemetery, Smethport, with the Rev. Allen D. Young, pastor of the East Smethport United Christian Church, officiating. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
