Obituary - Myra A. Burleson ____________________________________________________________________________ Port Allegany - Myra A. Burleson, 93, of Port Allegany, died Monday (January 4, 2010) in the Charles Cole Memorial Hospital, Coudersport. She was born Oct 23, 1916 in Emporium, a daughter of Eric and Dora Nystrom, she married Leonard T. Burleson, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Burleson was a graduate of Port Allegany High School Mrs. Burleson was a homemaker and a world wide traveler having been to all seven continents, all major capitols and most minor capitols She was a member of Port Allegany United Methodist Church, Port Allegany Women's Club. She is survived by one daughter: Kay Haskew of Tulsa, OK two sons: William (Patricia) E. Burleson of Port Allegany and Don (Etta) Burleson of Foley, AL 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren She was preceded by her parents, husband and one sister. At Mrs. Burleson request there will be no visitation or funeral as she has graciously donated herself to science.
