Obituary of Nancy L. Johnson

Smethport - Nancy L. Johnson, 70, of Smethport, went to be with the Lord on Sunday (April 13, 2014). She was born Feb. 20, 1944 in Kane, a daughter of Ralph and Isabel Hendrickson Dickinson. Nancy was a graduate of Smethport High School and was a housewife tending to the needs of her family at home. She was a member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church and the ECW. She is survived by: two daughters: Tammy (Dale) Luff and Erica (Eric) Tanner, both of Smethport one son: Paul (Barbara) Babcock of Kendallville, IN nine grandchildren: Travis, Stephanie, Chad, Taylor, Ryan, Elizabeth, Christian, Lisa and Rob one sister: Jean Hart of Bradford, PA two brothers: Ralph (Helen) Dickinson and James Dickinson, both of Smethport and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Dickinson, two sisters: Kay Boyle, and infant, Linda Rae Dickinson. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. at Hartle-Tarbox Funeral Homes, Inc., 2 Bank St., Smethport. A graveside service will be held on Friday, at 10 A.M., in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Smethport, with the Rev. Max Simms, pastor of the Hilltop Baptist Church, officiating.
