Obituary of Mary Elizabeth Lunn

Smethport - Mary Elizabeth Lunn, 33, of Hazel Hurst, died Friday (May 22, 2015), at her home, surrounded by her loving family, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born Feb 4, 1982 in Coudersport, a daughter of Milton and Elizabeth Stiles Pierce. On August 18, 2000, in Smethport, PA, she married Matthew S. Lunn, who survives. Mrs. Lunn was a 2000 graduate of Smethport Area High School and was a homemaker tending to the needs of her family. Mary was devoted and faithful to her family. Her children were her pride and joy. In addition to her husband, she is survived by: two sons: Jacob M. Lunn and Nathan G. Lunn, both at home, in Hazel Hurst three sisters: Dolores Main of Altoona, Dawn Pierce of Crosby, and April Pierce of Turtlepoint one brother: Milton Pierce of Smethport, PA and several Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Susan Pierce. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 10-11A.M. at Hartle-Tarbox Funeral Homes, Inc., 2 Bank St., Smethport, PA, where funeral and committal service will begin at 11 A.M., with the Rev. Max Simms, pastor of the Hilltop Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in McKean Memorial Park, Lafayette.
