She taught herself to sew so she could teach our 4H Club members. She, along with our Dad, were leaders of the Potato Creek Community 4H Club and made a huge impact in the lives of so many young folks interested in wildlife, raising farm animals, outdoor cooking, and everyone enjoyed our many outings that she organized. She was also the most devoted daughter-in-law moving to Grandma and Grandpa’s house on several occasions when they needed her help, after Grandma died Mom carried supper to Grandpa’s house, for years, so he didn’t have to eat alone. As she got older, she loved shopping for Christmas presents for all the greatgrandchildren, other favorite pastimes were organizing and visiting yard sales, going for rides on the bicycle and picking blackberries.” Survivors include her daughters, Sherry (Terry) Roberts of Dunnellon, FL, and Judy (Clip) Gregory of Smethport, PA and son Fred G (Stephanie) Herzog of Smethport, PA.
