Obituary of Harry E. Kelly

Port Allegany - Harry E. Kelly, 72, of Port Allegany died Wednesday (July 27, 2016) in the Cole Memorial Hospital, Coudersport. He was born July 8, 1944 in Coudersport, a son of Joseph and Mildred Schwiekart Kelly. On Sept. 19 1987, in Hillsdale, PA he married Christina R. Prushnok. Mr. Kelly was a 1962 graduate of Port Allegany High School. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, serving from 1965 to 1967. He was stationed in Korea attached to the B Battery 5th Battalion 42nd Artillery. Mr. Kelly was a machine operator, employed by Ball Incon. Harry enjoyed spending time with his family, was an avid car enthusiast and will be remembered for his great sense of humor. He is survived by his wife, Christina Kelly one daughter: Carrie Ann Kelly Spader of Roulette, PA one son: Paul (Michelle) Kelly of Bradford, PA grand children, McKenna Kelly. Nathan Spader, Triston and Tiauna Bird three sisters: Judy (Donald) Soegaard of Sutter, CA, Patricia Starr and Linda (Mike) Hardes both of Port Allegany, PA three brothers: Joseph (Lana) Kelly of Somerset, PA, Edward (Nancy) Kelly of Bangor, PA, Robert (Sandy) Kelly of Smethport, PA He was preceded in death by his parents Visitation will be held on Friday, July 29 2016 from 5-8pm in the Hartle-Tarbox Funeral Homes, Inc., 105 N Main St., Port Allegany where funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, July 30 2016, with the Rev. Joseph Smith, pastor of the Indiana Wesleyan Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Grimes Cemetery, Port Allegany.
