Port Allegany - Margaret E. Spade, 94, of, Coudersport, formerly of Port Allegany, died Monday (October 2, 2017) in the Charles Cole Memorial Hospital, Coudersport. She was born May 15, 1923 in New York , a daughter of William and Rose Vyshard Jones, On Sept. 10, 1945 in Glendville, NY, she married Wallace D. Spade, who died Jan. 29, 1990. Mrs. Spade was a graduate of Drapers High School in Schenectady NY and work for General Electric Co. retiring to take care of her family. She is survived by two daughters: Margie Greenwalt of Ellenton, FL and Susan (Frank) Baker of Coudersport, PA 3 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter due in November 2 Sisters Beverly and Beatrice of Schenectady, NY She was predeceased in death by her parents, husband, one daughter, Alice Mahood, 2 grandsons Wallace Mahood in 1986 and Franklin Wallace Baker in 1991 and 2 sisters Visitation will be held on Monday August 7, 2017 from 10 A.M. to 12 Noon at Hartle-Tarbox Funeral Homes, Inc., 105 N. Main St., Port Allegany, PA where funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon with Rev Roger Laktash, officiating.
