Obituary of Norma June Russell

Smethport - Norma June Russell, 88, of Smethport, formerly of Bradford, died Saturday (February 3, 2018) in the Sena Kean Manor, Smethport. She was born Nov 24, 1929 in Coryville, a daughter of Archie and Pearl Swortz Austin. On Feb. 10, 1951, she married Nelson A. Russell, who died May 10, 2011. Mrs. Russell was a housewife tending to the needs of her family. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed crafts, especially painting and doing ceramics. She is survived by: one son: Barry A. (Olga) Russell of Churchton, MD six grandsons and two great-granddaughters one sister: Marge Cochran of Turtlepoint and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Gary Lee Russell, and a daughter, Robin Lynn Russell-Coman, four brothers and two sisters. There will be no visitation or funeral services at this time. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date and time to be announced.
