McGuire, 93, of Smethport, died Saturday (June 20, 2009) at his home in Smethport.He was born Aug 12, 1915 in Duke Center, a son of James N. and Lulu M. Milliron McGuire.Mr. McGuire attended Smethport Schools and was a member of the Smethport Christian and Missionary Alliance Church.Mr. McGuire worked for Quaker State Refinery, Smethport Borough and was a janitor, employed by Smethport School District from 1969 till his retirement.He is survived byTwo nephews, James (Wanda) R. McGuire of Smethport, PA and Conrad (Debora) Michaelson of Kincardine, Ontario, Canada; Four niece, Brenda (Larry) Michaelson-Lochner of Hollidaysburg, PA; Julie (Glenn) Beinbrink of Georgetown, SC; Helen (Richard) Harris of Altoona, PA; Judy (John) Brooks of East Freedom, and several great and great great nieces and nephews He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and two sistersVisitation will be held on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. in the Hartle-Tarbox Funeral Homes, Inc., 2 Bank St., Smethport, PA.
