Port Allegany - Lee Allen Howard, 61, of Jamestown, NY, passed away Sunday (November 12, 2023) at his residence in Jamestown.

He was born April 2, 1962 in Lafayette, IN, the son of LaVerne R. and LoRena Nadene (Baker) Howard.

Lee was a 1984 graduate of Brookville High School and a graduate of IUP.

Lee was a published writer/author, having written many published books in the horror genre.

He is survived by:

One sister: Lezlee Kay (Fred Dean) Olson of Port Allegany

Close friend: Kevin Anderson of Jamestown, NY

And niece and nephews: Kevin (Jodi) Lindemuth, Korry (Ashley) Lindemuth and Kym (Jim) Moore.

Lee was preceded in death by his father, Rev. LaVerne R. Howard, a brother, Clayton Rexford Howard, and one nephew, Zachary Olson.

In keeping with Lee’s wishes, there will be no visitation. Graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family in the Sartwell Creek Union Cemetery.
