Terri Ann Jarrett Obituary

Smethport - Terri Ann Jarrett, 70, of Smethport, passed away Tuesday (April 9, 2024) at her residence in Smethport, with her family by her side.




She was born October 14, 1953 in Bradford, the daughter of Eugene and Elena (Milroy) Nick. In 1972, in St. Elizabeth Church, Smethport, she married William G. "Bill" Jarrett, who survives.




Terri was a 1971 graduate of Smethport Area High School and attended St. Francis Nursing School at the former St. Francis Hospital in Olean, NY. She received her LPN at that time.




Mrs. Jarrett was ultimately a library aide for many years at the Smethport Elementary School. She retired in 2013.




She volunteered for many years at the Smethport Food Bank. She enjoyed following all of her grandchildren in their sporting and extracurricular events.




In addition to her husband, Bill, she is survived by:


Two daughters: Kellie M. (Ryan) Yingling and Jessica A. (Michael) McKeirnan, both of Smethport


Six grandchildren: Kendall, Rylan, Greyson and A.J. Yingling, and Elena and Anna McKeirnan, all of Smethport


One sister: Cathy Kleisath of Smethport


One brother: Roger (Karen) Nick of Camp Hill, PA


Along with several nieces and nephews




In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Sandy Nick.




In keeping with Terri’s wishes, there will be no visitation or services.




Memorials, if desired, may be made to the Smethport Food Bank, Hamlin Memorial Library, Smethport, or the McKean County SPCA, Bradford. Online condolences may be made at www.hartle-tarboxfuneralhomes.com.
