Port Allegany - Stephen K. Larson, 61, of Port Allegany, passed away Wednesday (June 12, 2024) at his home in Port Allegany.

He was born March 15, 1963 in Port Allegany, the son of Keith and Lois (McFadden) Larson. On November 5, 1983, in Smethport, he married Karen S. Larson, who died March 4, 2017.

Steve was a graduate of Calvary Baptist School in Smethport and worked for many years for his company, Larson Logging, Inc. of Port Allegany as a self employed logger.

He enjoyed working and being in the outdoors.

He is survived by:

his mother: Lois Jean Larson of Smethport

two sons: Mark S. Larson and Scott M. Larson, both of Port Allegany

two sisters: Susan (David) Kibble and Debbie Rittburg, both of Smethport

along with several nieces and nephews.

Steve was preceded in death by his father, Keith, and his wife, Karen.

A celebration of life for Steve will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at Hartle-Tarbox Funeral Homes, Inc., 2 Bank St., Smethport, from 11AM to 1PM. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Smethport.
