Charles E. Miller Obituary

Smethport - Charles E. Miller, Jr., 62, of Mt. Jewett, passed away unexpectedly Friday (August 30, 2024) at his residence in Mt. Jewett.




He was born January 27, 1962 in Farmers Valley, the son of Charles and Beverly (Slade) Miller, Sr. On July 12, 2014, in Smethport, PA, he married Debbie L. Taft, who survives.




He graduated from Smethport High School and served in the Army National Guard.




Chuck worked as a forge worker at American Axle Company, formerly GKN.




He enjoyed fishing, trapping and working. He loved hunting with his Beagles.




In addition to his wife, he is survived by:


parents: Charles and Beverly Miller of Farmers Valley


two sisters: Carol (Paul) Kirsch of Bradford and Tina (James Dobstaff) Miller of Buffalo, NY


one brother: Dennis Miller of Florida


and many nieces and nephews.




Chuck was preceded in death by a brother, Steven Miller.




There will be no visitation or services at this time. A celebration of Chuck’s life will be held at a later date and time to be announced.
