Smethport - Betty Lou Anderson, 81, of Smethport, died Thursday (March 15, 2012) in the Sena Kean Manor, Smethport. She was born Jan. 13, 1931 in Ulysses, a daughter of Willy David and Kathleen Grinnup Button. On Nov. 3, 1953, she married Robert Elwood Anderson, who died Aug. 22, 2008. Mrs. Anderson was a housewife tending to the needs of her family. She is survived by two sons: Randall James Anderson of Smethport and Robert Edward Anderson of Farmers Valley 1 grandson: Jason Anderson two sisters: Shirley Bowser of Smethport and Sandra Sheets of Cameron Mills, NY one brother: Terrence DeLong of Port Allegany, PA, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 brothers, and 1 sister. There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 11A.M. in the Faith Church of Charity, Grimes District. Burial will be in Grimes Cemetery.
