Obituary of Kruze Jordan Carpenter-Stewart

Smethport - Kruze Jordan Carpenter-Stewart, 29, of Chambersburg, formerly of Smethport, passed away Monday (August 29, 2022) in Hanover Twp., PA.

He was born January 26, 1993 in Coudersport, PA the son of Alexander A. Stewart and Kathy J. McGavisk Carpenter.

Kruze was an extremely talented young man with several God-given gifts. The main one being music. He wrote, played, & sang songs his entire life. God blessed us with him for a short time & he will be loved & missed by so many & live in our hearts always. He'll be lovingly remembered for his music, a gift he left to us all in videos and clips.  He had dreams to go back to school and work in the mental health field.  As somebody who often didn't know his place in this world, he wanted to support and guide others who felt the same.  Kruze truly understood what it felt like to struggle, and he did not want that for anybody else.  We find peace in knowing he is with our Lord and Savior.  Rumi said "Death has nothing to do with going away.  The sun sets and the moon sets, but they're not gone".  We hope while missing him, you can find peace in his songs and all the wonderful memories.  We also encourage all who read this to check in with their loved ones.  Every moment on this earth is borrowed.  We will see you in heaven.  Play us a song.

Kruze is survived by his Father, Alexander (Laurie) Stewart of Pitcher, NY, Mother Kathy (Robert) Carpenter of Smethport, PA, Son Koda Carpenter of Horseheads,NY, Brothers Kody Carpenter of Smethport, PA,  Kylar Carpenter of Indiana, Alexander (Cristina) Stewart of Ft. Drum, NY, Jacob Stewart of Warwick, NY, Sister Ryanna Carpenter of Coudersport,PA, Step Sisters Tracey (Lonny) Seeley of Candor, NY, Elizabeth Hubbell of Lansing, NY A Grandmother, and several Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, A Niece and Nephew.
