Obituary of Beatrice D. Banks
Smethport - Beatrice D. Banks, 78, of Rew, passed away unexpectedly, Saturday (October 21, 2023) at at her residence.
She was born October 31, 1944 in Port Allegany, the daughter of Lyle Rees and Martha (Raymer) Rees. On July 16, 1965, in the Bolivar Run Baptist Church, she married Ralph A. Banks, who survives.
She was a graduate of Smethport High School and was a home maker, tending to the needs of her family.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by:
One daughter: Beatrice M. (William Thomas) Forsythe of Mt. Jewett
Two sons: Ralph A. (Tandra L.) Banks, Jr. of Cyclone and Jesse A. Banks of Mt. Jewett
Eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren
One brother: Walter (Sherry) Rees, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Beatrice was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
In keeping with her wishes, there will be no services.
