Smethport - Elnora Mae Snodgrass, 75, of Smethport, formerly of West Virginia and Shinglehouse, PA, died Sunday (January 19, 2014) in the Sena Kean Manor, Smethport.

She was born Sept. 10, 1938 in Bolivar, NY, a daughter of Adriane and Ruth Quick. On Jan. 12, 1974, in Cyclone, PA, she married William Wilde Snodgrass, who died April 12, 1996.

Mrs. Snodgrass was a Certified Nursing Assistant and had worked as a clerk at Wal-Mart, and lastly Dollar General in Shinglehouse, PA, when she resided there.

She was a member of the Free Christian Evangelical Church of Smethport.

She is survived by:

three daughters: Vicky (Steven) Dunkle of Smethport, Tonya (William) Hendershot of WestVirgina, and Robin (Charlie) Welch of Oklahoma

three sons: Richard (Renae) Johnston of Mt. Jewett, PA, Billy (Tanya) Snodgrass of Oklahoma, James (Anita) Johnston of Warren, PA

23 Grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren

two sisters: Arlene Densmore and Rose Reynolds of Shinglehouse, PA

one brother: Wayne Quick of Rochester, NY

and several nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers: Allen and Ernest Quick; a sister, Jenny Hosmer, a granddaughter, Shaina Dunkle, and a great grandson Cameron Dunkle.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday Jan. 21 2014 from 5-7pm at Hartle-Tarbox Funeral Homes, Inc., 2 Bank St., Smethport, PA Burial will be in the Mannington Memorial Park, Mannington, West Virginia.
