My memories of Fred are many !! When Bill and I got married, Fred came as part of the package !! He and Bill had been friends for many years and had recently gone thru a marriage break up so spent many hours and week ends at our house from Friday nite thru Sunday he was one of the family !! On holidays he was with us too. He will never be forgotten and the memories we have of him will never be forgotten !! Our Sympathy goes out to his whole family at this time. Our Love and Prayers are with you ! Fred was also our son Andy's godfather !

The loss of Fred from Smethport has left a hole in our community that no one can fill, and he wil BE MISSED. Fred was a special man, always that shy smile and a kind word when I'd see him. I first met him probably 25 years ago, and I will always remember him...some of my fondest memories are of Fred and C.Russell Johnson stopping by THE DINER(1994-2000) every evening for coffee and conversation! Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you during this very difficult time in your lives. I am so sorry about your dad- he was a wonderful man. I remember coming to your house Amy and he was always just so nice. Also this past summer I was visiting Smethport and saw him out and asked him if he remembered me and he said, oh yes Lisa!!!
