Obituary - Gertrude M. Dalaba ____________________________________________________________________________ Port Allegany - Gertrude M. Dalaba, 82, of Port Allegany, died Saturday (May 9, 2009) in the Elk Regional Health Center, St. Mary's, PA. She was born May 13, 1926 in Frankfurt, Germany. She came to United States in 1956. On July 10, 1965, in Port Allegany, PA, she married Ramsey A. Dalaba, Sr., who survives. Mrs. Dalaba graduated high school in Germany. Mrs. Dalaba worked as a housecleaner for the March Family for many years and was the owner and operator of Dalaba's Restaurant in Port Allegany but foremost she was a home maker for her family She was a member of Port Allegany Star Hose Co. Ladies Auxiliary, the Free Methodist Church of Port Allegany and she Loved to garden. In addition to her husband, she is survived by One daughter: Heidimarie Meacham of Port Allegany, PA One Grand-daughter, Sandy (Joe) Cirko of Port Allegany; and one grand-son, Earl (Brandi) Meacham of Port Allegany and 3 Great Grandchildren She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers and 1 sister. Visitation will be held on Monday from 2 - 4 and 6-8 PM at Hartle-Tarbox Funeral Homes, Inc, 105 N Main St, Port Allegany, PA where funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11:00 am with the Rev. Beth Rosler, pastor of the Free Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery, Port Allegany. Memorials may be made to Port Allegany Star Hose Co.
