Obituary of Gloria Jean Lewandowski

Port Allegany - Gloria Jean Lewandowski, 60, of Port Allegany, died Monday (November 5, 2012) at her residence in Port Allegany. She was born May 24, 1952 in Sayre, PA, a daughter of Raymond J. and Marie E. Smith Lewandowski. Miss Lewandowski was a 1970 graduate of Bishop Kenrick High School in Norristown, PA. She worked as a painting contractor painting houses and commercial properties. She was also employed at the former Fireside Inn and Canoe Place Inn. She was a member of St Gabriel's Church. She loved movies, animals, and enjoyed spending time with her friends and family and had a special fondness for all the younger family members, especially her God children, Tonia, Daniel and Alex. She is survived by three sisters: Helen (Dr. Edwin) Schott and Carolyn Forlani, both of Port Allegany, and Bridget (Mark) Pastorius of Norristown, PA one brother: Ray (Charlene) Lewandowski of Norristown, PA nieces and nephews: Tonia, Joseph, Nicole, Daniel, Michael, Estera, Jenna, Andrew, and Richard She was especially fond of her great nieces and nephews: Charlie, Olivia, Alex, Evan, Spencer, Morgaine, Ronin, and Gavin She was preceded in death by her parents. There will be no visitation. A Mass of Christian burial will be said on Friday, Nov.9, at 1 P.M., in St. Gabriel's Catholic Church, Port Allegany, with the Rev. James Campbell, pastor as officiant.
