Today I would have baked you an apple pie. I miss you so much and will be thinking of my dad-in-law on his birthday.

i remember Don from back in my teens when i would charge my gasoline from payday to payday.
he would also come to pick up my cars when i would have a wreck, which was quite often back then.
Don kept me and dick bright in parts for our racecars for many years.
Don you will be missed by me and countless of people, you were a joy to know and a person i called my friend.
my condolences to Margaret and all the family.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Raught family. I love you all, and even though I am very busy right now, I will be here as much as I can. I love you!

I will always remember Don's laughter the most. I was lucky enough to know him through my own grandfather, Carl Ferman, and had many dealings with Don when we both had garages. Margaret's brother "Red" used to hang out with me at my garage. No doubt Don and my grandpa are fixing cars together in Heaven and swapping stories of the "good old days". My sympathies to Margaret and the entire Raught family.

Funny, dedicated, generous, wise, blunt, stubborn, loving husband, dad, son, brother, uncle, very proud grandpa and great grandpa, my car guy, one of few who understood the personal struggles that we shared, someone who cared about me, loved me unconditionally, the cool old gentleman that I stayed in hotels with more times than with my own husband, the person who boosted my confidence but loved me enough to tell me what his thoughts were,no matter what they were, a cute old man~he hate it being said, he like I was stubborn and did not like being messed with, loved the cat even when he was yelling at her, was mischievous, an awesome phone buddy, a man who did things his own way.....
He disobeyed orders. He was not allowed to leave us. We agreed on this. I wish he could hear me tell him "I love you" just once more
I already miss you so much "my other Donald"
