Obituary of Barbara A. Majane
Coudersport - Barbara A. Majane, 90 of, Coudersport, PA, passed away Thursday (October 25, 2018) in the UPMC Cole, Coudersport.
She was born Oct. 31, 1927 in Mount Vernon, NY, a daughter of William L.and Anna T.Barnidge Lawrence. On August 9, 1958 in Mount Vernon she married Joseph A. Majane who died Nov. 28, 2000.
Mrs. Majane was a graduate Mount Vernon High School.
Mrs. Majane was a bank teller, employed by Commonwealth Bank now Northwest Savings Bank.
She was a member of St. Eulalia’s Catholic Church of Coudersport, AARP and volunteered at the Senior Center in Coudersport.
She is survived by
One Daughter; Linda Steadman of Matthews, NC
Two grandchildren; Clay (Valerie) Steadman of Wellsville, NY and Holly(Dan) Pulver of Dunedin, FL
Four great grandchildren; Isabella Gabriel, D'Aratgnan, and Zoey Steadman
Several nieces and nephews .
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers and one sister.
There will be no visitation.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held On Monday, Nov. 12, 2018 at 11:00am in St. Eulalia's Catholic Church, Coudersport, with the Rev. James Campbell, Pastor , as celebrant.
Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
