Obituary of Donna Lee Hartle
Port Allegany - Donna L. Hartle, 67, of Port Allegany, died Thursday (December 20, 2018) in her own home, after a lengthy illness.
She was born July 10, 1951 in Wilkinsburg, a daughter of Melvin and Katherine Smith Robbins. On June 17, 1978 in St. Lawrence O'Toole Catholic Church, Pittsburgh, she married Robert J. Hartle, who survives.
Mrs. Hartle was a 1969 graduate of Peabody High School in Pittsburgh, PA.
Donna worked for Busch Co. and for General Electric's Medical Division both in Pittsburgh. She moved to Port Allegany in 1981 where she worked for North Penn Gas Co. After the office closed in Port Allegany, she worked for Fessenden Construction Co. of Roulette, Highperion in Coudersport and again as an office manager for Fessenden Construction, retiring in 2013
She was a member of St. Gabriel's Catholic Church and the Catholic Women's Club. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She loved music, especially Neil Diamond, and sang with "Sweet Rejoicing", a folk group at her church in Pittsburgh. She loved her dogs "Coco" and "Scooter".

One nephew: Brandon (Sherri) Cohn of Pittsburgh
One niece: Valerie (Aaron) Koehler of Pittsburgh
Several great nieces and nephews
One Step Sister: Lisa (Jim) Neese of Pittsburgh
She was preceded in death by her parents
Visitation will be held on Sunday, Dec. 23, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Hartle-Tarbox Funeral Homes, Inc., 105 N. Main St., Port Allegany, PA. A scriptural wake service will be held on Sunday afternoon at 3:45 PM in the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, Dec. 24, 2018 at 10:00am in St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church, 203 Arnold Ave., Port Allegany, PA, with the Rev. James Campbell, Pastor, as Celebrant. Burial will be in St. Gabriel’s Cemetery, Port Allegany.
