My sincere condolences for your loss. Maurice and I graduated from high school together. We were in the senior class play together, "Aunt Susie Shoots the Works." Have no idea what the play topic was or what "Aunt Susie" was shooting, but do remember all the fun we 'classmates of '61' were all involved in after play practice finished. It was totally past the season for the fruit, but we took great delight in removing watermelons from any farmers' garden, they were far past their prime but should the farmer find us roaming their land, we usually heard of barrage of hollering for us to exit immediately. Either with or without the over-ripe watermelons. We were all young and able to run rapidly.
Maurice is remembered as a kind, gentle, fun fellow student.

We are heartbroken at the loss of Niel. He was a wonderful neighbor and friend. Always wanting to help, no matter the task. From refereeing waffle balls games to mixing 70 bags on concrete on a HOT summer day to help Todd. A truly great man and we will miss him, but are better having known him.
