Obituary of Barbara M. Reider

Smethport-Barbara M. Reider, 67, of Smethport, passed away on Wednesday (Feb. 5, 2020) at Buffalo General Hospital, Buffalo, NY.

She was born on Nov. 13, 1952, at home in Stewartstown, a daughter of Reuben and Constance Hedlam Shenberger.  In 1990, in Smethport, she married Tony S. Reider, who survives and still resides in Smethport, PA.

Barb worked in many various service related jobs over the years and was retired at the time of her passing.  She loved crafting and doing home improvement projects along with gardening and taking her dogs over the years for walks.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two brothers, Tony Shenberger & spouse Kate of Red Lion, PA and Reuben  Shenberger & spouse Peggy of Felton, PA.  She is also survived by two sisters, Carol Dunlap & spouse Harold and Pamela Lower, both of Red Lion, PA, along with numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Chris Hedrick.

There will be no services at this time.  The family will be having a Celebration of Life for family and friends at a later date.
