Obituary of Roy W. Corbett

Smethport - Roy W. Corbett, 58, of Crosby, passed away Tuesday (February 18, 2020) in the Sena Kean Manor, Smethport.

He was born May 19, 1961 in Port Allegany, a son of the late Wayne L. and Betty J. Lathrop Corbett.

Mr. Corbett was a graduate of Smethport Area High School Class of 1979.  He worked for Allegheny Bradford Corporation of Lewis Run.

He was a member and former chief of the Norwich Twp. Volunteer Fire Dept. of Crosby, a member of the Crosby Baseball Association, the Norwich Sportsman’s Club, and the American Legion; John Berg Post #976 of Crosby.  He was an avid hunter, fisherman and golfer.

He is survived by:

One daughter:  Staci L. Corbett of Crosby

One stepson:  Kyle Burton of Cyclone

One brother:  Lane (Terry) Corbett of Smethport

Two nephews:  Michael (Becca) Corbett and Ryan Corbett

One great nephew:  Easton Corbett

He was preceded in death by his father, Wayne, on Jan. 16, 2013, and his mother, Betty, on April 11, 2009.

Visitation will be held on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Hartle-Tarbox Funeral Homes, Inc., 2 Bank St., Smethport.  A memorial service will be held at a later date and time to be announced. Burial will be in Norwich Cemetery, Colegrove.
