To Dorthy and all the kids, Jimmy, Wanda,Dan,Donna,Barb, Joe and Mary, my heart, prayers and sympathy goes out to all of you !!Since we lived so close and grew up as childhood friends and have remained friends throughout these many years, I have so many memories of spending countless hours at your house doing the things that young kids do, fishing, play ball, games, and of course eating. I would like to share a couple, we were poor and didn't have TV and when the Beatles first appeared on The Ed Sullivan show back in February of 1964 all of us older kids ( both Brittons and Taylors) packed the living of Brittons to eat and watch them and I remember Harry giggling about the fuss the girls were making over those long haired kids, the Beatles. But, because I loved Harry's quiet and a bit shy sense of humor and obviously his giggle, my most fond memory was Harry would take us older boys , Charles, Floyd, me, and David to pick ground pine while he and his boys Jimmy and Dan cut logs. He drove that old green dodge pick-up truck and he would have all of us in the back until he turned into Sackett Holllow and then he would talk 3 or 4 of us older boys to getting out on the side boards so he could run us into the biggest branches he could find hanging out into the road all the way in and back out and would just giggle the whole time, especially if he would knock one us off."Rest in Peace Harry"

Dorothy, Jimmy, Wanda, Danny, Donna, Barb, Joe, and Mary –
I am so sorry to hear about Harry. I have very fond memories of him, especially when I was young and spent time at your house. Also, seeing him at the farm in Crosby, and waving to him as he drove down the road past our house in his truck.
I am sorry that I will not be able to be there in person, but please know you are all in my thoughts and Prayers. My heart goes out to you in your time of sorrow.
May Harry Rest in Peace.
