Smethport - Phillip Besaw, 75, of Smethport, passed away on December 25, 2020 at the Bradford Regional Medical Center. He was born October 12, 1945, a son a Louis and Mary O’Mahen Besaw Phillip was known for being friendly, dependable, sociable, and loyal. He enjoyed riding his bike and time spent with family and friends. He was employed by several restaurants over the years, including Hull’s Restaurant in Smethport. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his two sisters, Barbara Johnston of Glens Falls, NY, and Mary Lou Cholewinski, of Hernando, Florida, as well as several nieces and nephews. There will be no formal memorial services. Arrangements are under the direction of Hartle-Tarbox Funeral Home, Inc, Smethport.
