Im sorry to see "Mr C" has passed i had him as an art teacher in high school and he was always kind and giving even when occasionally i was not deserving he was very patient with me and led me to pursue an education at the Art Institute of Pittsburg and later to follow in his footsteps and major in fine art at Edinboro im sure that he will be missed by many students even if they never met him they will miss his way of teaching an of being a human being fare well Mr C

I wish to extend my sympathy to Mr. Christensen's family. I always thought very highly of him. As a Port High graduate, I was given the opportunity to be a student of his and have very fond memories of art class; listening to his music and his silly noises that he made when he would scribble on the chalkboard , makes me giggle thinking about it, Mr. Christensen made art class fun. Carol, So sorry to hear of Bob’s passing. I will always remember his hugs, our chats as he sat on our bench, and our teasing about racing him on his walk as I was recovering from my hip surgery and using my walker. He was a sweet man and I’m glad we had the opportunity to get to know him a little when we moved across the street. He liked our “Frannie” as I know he missed his Abbie. He gave me a scare shortly after we moved in as I saw him laying in your back yard. It turned out he was just playing with Abbie. Our deepest sympathy to you and your family. Ron & Bonnie Bradley

Dear Carol and Family So sorry to hear of Bob’s passing. I have so many fond memories of him as a teacher but mostly of being coached by him. I was fortunate to be on both the 68 and 69 teams. We would never have been undefeated without his coaching abilities. He meant a lot to me and us all. God Bless Kirk Johnson

I wish to extend my sympathy to Mr. Christensen's family. I always thought very highly of him. As a Port High graduate, I was given the opportunity to be a student of his. I had (and still do not have) a sliver of artistic ability, but somehow Mr. Christensen made art class fun.
