Obituary of Susan Claire Irwin
Smethport – On Sunday, November 7, 2021, Susan Claire Irwin, 68, of Bradford, was received into the loving arms of God with her family by her side at Penn Highlands-Dubois, PA.
She was born November 3, 1953 in Kane, the daughter of Paul D. Elliott and Marilyn H. Alexis Elliott .
Susan was a graduate of Smethport High School Class of 1972 and attended Erie Business Institute. In her career, she was employed by various companies in the area including Hamlin Bank, Pennzoil and KOA/Speer Electronics.
She was a former member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Smethport, PA.
In addition to her mother, Marilyn Elliott of Smethport, she is survived by:
A son, Christopher Lee Irwin of Bradford, a granddaughter, Skye Eakin-Irwin, two sisters, Gail L. Elliott and Alexis (James) Clark, both of Smethport, two brothers, Kurt (Lisa) Elliott of Coudersport and Ken (Marlene) Elliott of Roulette and several nieces and nephews.
Susan was preceded in death by her father, Paul D. Elliott, on June 30, 2018.
Private family services will be held with the Rev. Joann Piatko, officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Smethport.
