Obituary of Grace C. Minteer

Coudersport - Grace C. Minteer, 90, of Coudersport, passed away Wednesday (December 8, 2021) at Sweden Valley Manor, Coudersport.

 She was born March 24, 1931 in Coudersport, the daughter of Leo and Hannah (Woodcock) Hall. On November 27, 1958 in Erie, PA she married Ernest J Caldwell, who passed away on May 19, 1999. On July 15, 2005 in Ellwood City, PA, she married Wayne Minteer, who died May 5, 2017.

 Grace was employed by Charles Cole Memorial Hospital, retiring in 1993 after 24 years of service. She was a member of St. Joseph Episcopal Church in Port Allegany.

 She is survived by one daughter, Pamela J. (Ronald) Rapp of Coudersport and one son, Brian (Susette) Caldwell of Wellsboro, PA

 Two grandchildren: Jordan Caldwell and Morgan Rapp

 One great grandson:  Logan Caldwell

 One brother: James Hall of Erie, PA

 One sister: Patricia Damewood of Poplar Bluff, MO

 5 step children:  Rita Mahon, Gloria Beason, Ernie Caldwell, Brenda Lewis, and Beverly Gonder.

  Several step grandchildren and step great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands and two sisters, Virginia Church and Donna Stone.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 from 11AM-1PM in the Hartle -Tarbox Funeral Homes, Inc, Port Allegany, where funeral and committal services will be held follow visitation at 1PM, with the Rev. Joann Piatko, officiating. Burial will be in the Sweden Hill Cemetery, Coudersport.

Memorials, if desired, may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
