Obituary of Paul Richard Keesler

Hazel Hurst - Paul Richard "Dick"  Keesler, 87, of Hazel Hurst, passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday (December 28, 2021).

 

He was born November 21, 1934 in Hazel Hurst, the son of John Keesler and Avis Nogar. On March 12, 1955, in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Mt. Jewett, he married Helen M. "Coby" Henry, who survives.

 

Mr. Keesler was a sawmill supervisor for Collins Pines of Kane before his retirement. 

 

After retirement, Dick served as a Hamlin Township supervisor and worked for Hamlin Township sewer service.  He also served on the township park committee and just recently retired as president of the water company.

 

In addition to his wife, he is survived by:

Two sons:  Robert L. Keesler of Hazel Hurst and Paul R. Keesler, Jr. of Kane

One daughter:  Debra L. Keesler of Hazel Hurst

One granddaughter:  Dawn Stoddard

One great-granddaughter:  Mya Stoddard

One sister:  Carol Walker of Hazel Hurst

And several nieces and nephews

 

In addition to his parents, Dick was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

 

There will be no visitation or services at this time.  A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
