Obituary of Norma E. Fallenstein

Port Allegany - Norma E. Fallenstein, 86, of, Frederick, MD, formerly of Port Allegany died Monday (August 6, 2012) in the North Hampton Manor, Frederick, MD. She was born July 18, 1926 in Costello, a daughter of Andrew and Anna Burgland Logue. On September 22, 1948 in Eldred, PA, she married Henry F. Fallenstein, who died June 9, 1993. Mrs. Fallenstein was a graduate of Austin High School. Mrs. Fallenstein was a homemaker and owned and operated Henry's Grocery Store with her husband from 1969 till 1980. She was a member of Gethsemane Lutheran Church, Port Allegany Women of the Moose #205, Port Allegany, PA American Legion Frank Burt Post #258, Port Allegany, PA She is survived by One daughter: Sylvia Cole of Frederick, MD One son: Henry "Butch" Fallenstein of Port Allegany, PA 5 grandchildren; Sara (Chris) McGonnell, Jeff Fallenstein, Doni (Mark) Ernst, Christine (Christian) Smith and Mike (Becky) Cole 5 great grandchildren; Melissa and Joshua Ernst, Seanna Hurst and Kinleigh and Cole Smith She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 brothers and 2 sisters There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 22, at 11 AM, from the Gethsemane Lutheran Church, Port Allegany. Burial will be in the Grimes Cemetery, Port Allegany.
