Smethport - Carol A. Yeager, 83, of Smethport, passed away Thursday (September 22, 2022) at Olean General Hospital, Olean, NY.

She was born February 22, 1939 in Bradford, the daughter of Oakley and Mary Hardy Campbell. In 1960, in Bradford, she married Arthur L. "Jim" Yeager, who survives.

Mrs. Yeager was a graduate of Bradford High School Class of 1957 and worked for Corning Glass in Bradford, at Clark's, and lastly at Fisher's Big Wheel.

In addition to her husband, she survived by:

One daughter: Cindy S. (Kevin) Rees of Smethport

Two sons: James A. (Sue) Yeager of Bradford and Richard A. Yeager of Little Valley, NY

Three grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren

One sister, along with many nieces and nephews

In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by a grandson, five brothers and three sisters.

In keeping with Carol’s wishes, there will be no services.
