I was a classmate of Asa's at Flint Christian School from kindergarten to third grade. This picture is from the yearbook of our kindergarten year. I have few memories of school friends from then, but I do remember Asa. I remember a sleepover and playing at the house once. I think it might have been at his house where I first rode a snowmobile. Also attached is a get well card he made for me when I had surgery at the end of third grade. If he was as thoughtful and kind as an adult as he was toward me as a kid, I am sorry for his family's and friends' loss.
