Alveila J. Cullen Obituary

SMETHPORT — Alveila “Sis” J. Cullen, 91, of Waterville, Maine, went to be with her Lord on Monday (Jan. 16, 2023).





Sis was born in Cyclone, and was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Bertha Thomas, her husband Charles Cullen and her brothers. She is survived by her daughter, son-in-law, two grandchildren and a great-grandchild.





Graduating from Bradford Area High School in 1949, Sis worked various jobs in the Bradford area, eventually going to Producers Bank & Trust. She spent a few years in Ohio and around 1982 moved to Maine where she became the Executive Assistant to the Vice President of Cianbro Corporation in Pittsfield.




Upon retirement she lived in Florida for 25 years and was a member of the Belleview United Methodist Church. To be closer to family she returned to Maine.





Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Smethport. At her request, the interment service will be held privately with her immediate family.
