Obituary of Joseph Michael Flint

Port Allegany - Joseph Michael Flint, 65, of Port Allegany, passed away Wednesday (February 15, 2023) at his home, with family by his side, in Port Allegany. 

He was born May 2, 1957 in Olean, NY, a son of Martin A. and Eileen Rose Crowley Flint.

Joseph was a 1975 graduate of Port Allegany High School.

He worked at the Quaker State Station in Port Allegany. He then worked for Saint Gobain, now Ardagh Group, as a Lab Technician retiring in 2019 having worked there for 34 years.

He was a member of St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church. He enjoyed golfing, woodworking in his shop and spending time with his granddaughters.

 

He is survived by a daughter; Melissa (Erik) Shepski, of  West Chester PA,

Three granddaughters; Adeline, Evie and Quinn Shepski of West Chester, PA

One brother; Martin A. (Susan) Flint of Port Allegany PA,

Two sisters; Catherine (Patrick) Foley of Troutman NC and Patricia Anne (Rick Francis) Burdick of Rudhford NY.

And many nieces and nephews.

At Joe’s request there will be no visitation.  A Celebration of Joe's life will be held at a later date and time to be announced.

Memorials, if desired, may be made to the Port Allegany Ambulance Association or the Port Allegany Fire Department.
