Obituary of Marsha M. Struble
Smethport - Marsha M. Struble, 62, of Smethport, passed away Monday (April 3, 2023) at Mercy Hospital of Buffalo, NY.
She was born June 14, 1960 in St. Marys, PA, the daughter of Herman Eckert and Beverly Kent.
She was a graduate of St. Marys High School and attended beauty school. She worked as a personal care giver for many years before her retirement.
Marsha was a member of the Smethport American Legion Auxiliary and the Smethport VFW Auxiliary.
She was an avid fisherwoman and hunter. She was an amazing gardener, cook and loved canning and sharing her creations with friends and family to enjoy. She also volunteered with Special Olympics.
She is survived by her fiancee, Steve Spallina of Smethport
One son: Jesse (Jennifer Jewett) Struble of Columbus, OH
One daughter: Amanda Struble of Smethport
A grandson: Hunter Struble
Two sisters: Ila Hughes of Webster, NY and Heather (Bill) Murphy of Smethport
One brother: Charles (Patricia) Eckert of Ridgway
beloved nieces: Emily Roth, Christy Prezyna and Maggie Close
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A celebration of Marsha’s life will be held at a later date and time to be announced.
