Obituary of Evelyn I. Simons

Smethport-Evelyn I. Simons, 85 of Smethport, PA, formerly of Johnstown, PA, died Wednesday in the Sena Kean Manor, Smethport, PA. Born in Johnstown, PA, she was the daughter of Stephen and Sophia V. (Bagi) Simons. She was a graduate of Johnstown High School and was employed as a clerk, by Glosser Brothers Dept. Store of Johnstown, PA She is survived by 6 Nieces and nephews, including nephew, Harold Lindgren of Smethport, PA Great Nieces, Christine Lindgren of Smethport, and Kimberly Cavallaro of Bradford, PA; Great Great Nephew, Josh Costa of Smethport, PA. There are also many other nieces and nephews all located in the state of Virginia. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 brothers, William and Stephen Simons, and 2 sisters, Ethel Lindgren and Mary Haynes. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 7:00 pm at Hartle-Tarbox Funeral Homes, Inc., 2 Bank St., Smethport, with the Rev. Thomas Beam, pastor of the Trinity Lutheran Church, Smethport, officiating. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery, Johnstown. Memorial donations can be sent to a charity of the donor's choice.
