Port Allegany - Raymond Petteys, Jr., 65, of Port Allegany, passed away Sunday (March 24, 2024) at his home in Port Allegany.

He was born January 20, 1959 in Port Allegany, the son of Raymond Petteys, Sr. and Judith (Chilson) Petteys. In Port Allegany, PA, he married Linda VanSickles, who survives.

Ray was a a graduate of Port Allegany High School and worked at Ethan Allen Co. of Eldred, PA.

He was a member of the Port Allegany Fire Department.

Two sons: Christopher Petteys of Tampa Bay, FL and Cody Petteys of Port Allegany

Two step sons: Jackson Barth of Port Allegany and Timothy Barth of Alleghen County

two step daughters: Tamika (Michael) DeCarlo of Burtville and LuCretia (Brandon) Maynard of Shinglehouse

three grandchildren: Kristina Moyer, Michael (Keesha) Moyer and Marlin Moyer

seven great grandchildren

one brother: Matthew (Holly) Petteys of Port Allegany

and several nieces and nephews

In addition to his parents, Ray was preceded in death by three sisters, Beth Ann Howard, Debra Rae Moore and Mary DeCarlo

A celebration of Ray’s life will be held at a later date.
