When I was a young girl, growing up and Gifford, I was no longer able to keep my guinea pig, Daisy. Carol took Daisy, and gave her a good home, but my heart was broken that I had to give up my guinea pig. Carol made me a ceramic piggy bank, and told me it was an exchange gift for Daisy. I’m now 64 years old, and I still have, and love that piggy bank. It meant so much to me that she gave it to me. My condolences to Carol’s family, and her good friend, Jim. Mary Lerch Hamer
