Obituary of Connie Eileen Brundage

 

Port Allegany - Connie Eileen Brundage, 76, of Port Allegany, passed away Thursday (August 29, 2024) at Sena Kean Manor, Smethport, PA.

 

She was born August 11, 1948 in Coudersport, the daughter of Ronald (Bucky) Meacham and Mary (Riale) Haskins. On December 26, 1970, in Austin,  she married Lawrwnce M. Brundage, who died April 8, 2022

 

Mrs. Brundage was a graduate of Austin Area High School. She worked for many years at Sylvania, the Market Basket, the Two Mile Inn, Indian Echo Golf Club and at Potter Pak.

 

She was a life member of the Star Hose Auxiliary, Past Worthy Matron of the former Mecca Chapter 217 Order of the Eastern Star now Eulalia Chapter 148 of Coudersport. She was a charter member of The Women of the Moose Chapter 2188 of Port Allegany and was a Past Senior Regent and a  member of the Ladies of the VFW #6391 in Port Allegany.

 

She is survived by two daughters; Kimberly Sue Rees of  Port Allegany PA and Tammy Lynn (Craig) Emerson  Victoria TX.

Eight Grandchildren; Ronnie, Gregory, Mari, Erin, Kory, Jenna, Brianna and Joey.

Eleven Great grandchildren: Blake, Skyler, Addy, Gunner, McKenzy, Grayer, Nova, Lukas, Emma, Shy and Gabriel.

One sister; Vicki (Don) Ayers  Austin PA.

Several nieces and nephews.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son Ronald Rees, a sister Diane Ayers, her step father Aaron Haskins and a nepheew Bill Brewer.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, September 1, 2024 from 4 till 6 PM  at the Moose Lodge in Port Allegany

 Burial will be in Portage Valley Cemetery, Port Allegany..
