Port Allegany - Donna J. Blose, 80, of Turtlepoint, passed away Thursday (October 17, 2024) at UPMC-Cole, Coudersport.

She was born February 16, 1944 in Port Allegany, the daughter of Clare and Marie (Cummings) Crowe. In November of 1992, in Smethport, PA, she married John D. Blose..

She attended Port Allegany Schools and worked in quality control at Pittsburgh Corning Corporation, Port Allegany, retiring in 2000 after 26 years.

Donna loved spending time with her family and her dog, “Moo-Moo”.

She is survived by 6 children:

Four daughters: Dixie (Roger) Schweikart of Austin, PA, Diane (Jimmy) Green and Susan Redmond both of Port Allegany, and Dawn (Dave) Mahon of Coudersport

Two sons: Joe (Carrie) Blackman of Coudersport and Scott (Martha) Blackman of Bradford

9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren

And many nieces and nephews

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two grandsons, Austin Mahon and Landen Shepard, two brothers, Ralph and Thomas Crowe, and three sisters, Betty Stebbins, Helene Turner, and Nancy Whyte

There will be no visitation or services at this time. Burial will be in Grimes Cemetery, Port Allegany.
