Port Allegany - Calvin P. Cochran, 89, of Turtlepoint, passed away Wednesday (December 25, 2024) at Cole Place, Coudersport.




He was born February 24, 1935 in Portage Twp., the son of Henry and Nora (Rhodes) Cochran .




Mr. Cochran was a graduate of Port Allegany High School. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1955 to 1959.




Calvin worked at Pittsburgh Corning of Port Allegany.




He was a member of the Eldred American Legion.




He is survived by:


One niece: Karen & Dan Smith of Eldred


Two nephews: Bill & Julie Cochran of Duke Center and Doug & Paula Cochran of Coudersport


Along with several great nieces and great nephews




In addition to his parents, Calvin was preceded in death by his companion, Jenny McCarty, a brother, Frank Cochran, sister in law, Shirley Cochran, and infant brother, Henry Cochran, Jr., and a niece, Vicky Cochran




In Keeping with Calvin’s wishes, there will be no services.
