Obituary - Leland S. Williams ____________________________________________________________________________ Austin - Leland "Sonny" S. Williams, 81, of Austin, died Monday (July 12, 2010) in the Charles Cole Memorial Hospital, Coudersport. He was born May 2, 1929 in Austin, a son of Leland S. and Irene Compton Williams. Mr. Williams was a graduate of Austin High School. Mr. Williams was an engineer, employed by Transco Gas Co. for 20 years retiring in 1986 He was a 50 year member of the Masonic Lodge Arcana #580 F & AM of Austin He was a member of the Austin Costello Sportsman Club and others sportsman clubs in the area. He was also a member of the Moose Lodge #460 of Port Allegany. He is survived by Two sisters: Avis (Robert) Keck and Janice (Kenneth) Rees both of Austin, PA and many nieces and nephews He was preceded in death by one sister Reba Dynda. Visitation will be held on Thursday July 15, 2010 from 5-7PM at Hartle-Tarbox Funeral Homes, Inc, 105 N Main St, Port Allegany, PA. A Masonic service will be conducted in the funeral home at 7PM, by the Masonic Lodge #580 F & AM, Austin. Burial will be in the Reesville Cemetery, Costello.
