Sue and I were Tally and Smally in grade school and enjoyed many hours playing together at the farm, out back with the ducks at her house, and in Sackett's field. I offer my condolences for her loss at such a young age.

We were so sorry to hear that Susie had passed away. She was always smiling and making us laugh. We have many happy memories of band trips and classes at O-E. My favorite story was in PE class when we were playing softball and Susie and Cindy Layfield ran into each other. We were all looking for her tooth when we noticed that it was stuck in Cindy's forehead. Mrs. Pasko about had a coronary.
You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Susan and I were best friend since we were 3 as I stated before. I always looked forward to summer when I knew Susan, her mom,and sisters would be coming to spend time with their Aunt Tess, Uncle Harold and Grandma.During the summer,we were inseparable. She was so much fun. I could fill a book with the things we did. She found joy and fun in any situation. She also had a memory of an elephant and talking to her brought our childhood memories to life. I know how much she treasured her family. You have my deepest condolances. If there is anything I can do, please let me know. Love, Mary Alice Puskar Medlin

Susan was my oldest and dearest friend. We met at age 3 when her sister brought her up from her Aunt Tess's to show everyone her new adorable Toni(Hair Perm). This little blond curly haired baby was, from what my sisters said, gorgeous. Next to her, I was a little plain Jane. They said Shirley Temple didn't hold a candle to Susan. That began a friendship that lasted through
out our lives. We spoke on the phone and distance and time never diminished the friendship we had. I love her dearly and she will alway be my BFF.

Sue, I cant believe you have left this heavenly place to go up above, nut I know you'll be reunited with all of the other angels. You were such a great lady. Kind, funny and an awesome sun bathing buddy. The 1000 islands will be a different place now. Make sure you say a hello to Mr Herrmann, Wally and Mr Bob. Peace be with you.
To the family, I am so sorry for your loss. I wish there was something I could do! Please let me know if there is anything I can do!

I was sorry to read of Susan's passing. I have many fond memories of junior/senior high school with her; she sat next to me in band and was in many of my classes. She was a beautiful girl. Keep telling her story and singing her song to keep her memory alive with her grandchildren.
