Joan and I had many good times. Graduated together from EHS. We would wait on the corner of Elm and Main in Eldred with Mr. Harvey, for Gus Irwin (he played with Happy, Ed and Jack) to pick us up to take us to Bedford Corners to the dance. She was a great dancer. We were going to go to Rochester Business Institute together, we went for the tour, but she backed out, I think love came along. Didn't see her much after school. But I sure remember the dances.
