Obituary of Mary G. Razey

Smethport- Mary G. Razey, 103, of Smethport, died Thursday (January 27, 2011) in the Sena Kean Manor, Smethport. She was born June 5, 1907 in Polk, a daughter of James and Gertrude Bond Barker. On July 17, 1933, in Port Allegany, she married William W. Razey, who died October 21, 1988. Mrs. Razey was a house cleaner in the Smethport area for many years. She spent the bulk of her life tending to the needs of her family. She is survived by one daughter: Idabelle M. (Harold) Drayer of Eureka Springs, AR three sons: Bernard R. (Mazie) Razey of Port Orchard, WA, David P. (Constance) Razey of Olean, NY, Howard A. (Sara) Razey of Smethport, PA 16 Grandchildren, 39 Great Grandchildren, and 14 Great Great Grandchildren In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 2 infant children, 1 brother and 1 sister. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2-4 PM at Hartle-Tarbox Funeral Homes, Inc., 2 Bank St., Smethport, PA. Funeral and committal services will be held on Monday at 11 A.M., in the funeral home, with the Rev. Bill Nace, pastor of the McCrea Brook Wesleyan Church, officiating. Burial will be in Norwich Cemetery, Colegrove, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sena Kean Manor Activities Fund, 17083 Rt. 6, Smethport, PA 16749.
